Housing\Student Life

Salt Lake City Housing Information

Student Life

Campus: All degree programs are offered online and at our physical campus in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah on South Temple.  Our campus vision is to concentrate classes, housing and internship opportunities together within a walkable area that remains in a six block radius of the state Capitol - essentially the Williamsburg model.

The downtown Salt Lake City area is unique in its high concentration of internship offerings within a walkable distance from quality student housing options. We encourage our students to take advantage of the opportunities to work with legislators, judges, law offices, think tanks, public affairs consultants, media and other supporting organizations that shape governments and society.

Beyond key internships, this area of slightly over one square mile is rich in employment opportunities. It also contains an efficient public transportation system, the new Salt Lake City library, and numerous cultural venues and museums. Religious enrichment is also abundant in the variety of churches and cathedrals, Temple Square, and an LDS Institute nearby, all of which can be a valuable benefit to students.

Student body: Our small on-campus student body rarely exceeds 100 students. The resulting intimacy supports the ideal of a personalized education with constant interaction and individual attention.  Classes range from 10-15 students in size with a 1:7 mentor/student ratio.  Approximately 1/3 of students are private school graduates, 1/3 from public school and 1/3 who were home schooled. The male/female ratio is roughly even.
